Sharon Downes, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech Therapy Department

Sharon S. (Anderson) Downes joined the staff at Rocky Mountain
Therapy in June of 2003. Sharon graduated from the University of
Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, with a Masters of Arts degree in
Speech-Language Pathology. She has served as a speech-language
therapist in various school districts specializing in language-learning
disorders. She has also served on the Wyoming Deaf-Blind Clinic.
Sharon received her certification as a Brain Injury Specialist from
the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury
Specialists (AACBIS) and currently serves on the Wyoming Brain
Injury Task Force. She has extensive experience with the pediatric
population as well as clients of all ages with developmental
disabilities. She specializes in oral motor treatment, myofunctional
swallow therapy, and voice disorders.
